Technical Support Engineer 2

Skull Diamond and Heart Capital, LLC is looking for a Technical Support Engineer 2 at our Rochester, NY office.  This position reports directly to the Chief Acquisition Officer.  In this role you will work with the team and as an individual contributor on maintaining and monitoring the computer systems and networks for our business. You will be tasked with solving complex technical issues and will work with team members to provide prompt and professional service. Strong decision making, communication and technical computer skills are required.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure software and computer systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware and network related issues
• Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems
• Maintain procedures that provide technical support to the entire organization
• Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues
• Support the implementation of new solutions or applications
• Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems
• Test, evaluate, and help make decisions about new technology for the business
• Maintain validity of data accuracy and consistency
• Participate in business-wide meetings to provide insight into technical requirements

Terms:

• At least 40 hours per week
• Travel as-needed with reliable transportation
• Working hours:  some text
  • Normal business Monday - Friday 
  • Off/emergency hours as needed  
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
